It’s a testament to just how “giving” the year 2013 was towards us that we are only just able to settle down and do a review of 2013. In that year, we started another daily photo project after completing one in 2011. It was named 2013 | 365 and initially started as a way of showing our family & friends elsewhere in the world what our new residence country was like; it quickly became a celebration of Canada, its people, its food & drink, its culture and just general wonderment. Some of the people that we featured in that series of complimentary micro sessions were so happy with their images that they commissioned us for more weddings, portrait & event coverage.
2013 was also the year that we instigated #yegweddinghour on Twitter after finding out about the equivalent back in the UK. We are so blessed and happy to report that #yegweddinghour has been such a success in Edmonton and has been the a great meeting place for wedding vendors, brides & grooms, who subsequently worked together to create beautiful wedding days. In some cases, #yegweddinghour vendors collaborated to produce inspiration shoots or just a longstanding business relationship. Since its inception in May 2013, #yegweddinghour has been featured in Edmonton Sun & Edmonton Examiner Newspapers and several blog posts. We truly believe that the more people get involved in #yegweddinghour at 7 – 8 pm MST on Wednesdays, the better, so please invite anyone you like to join us!
We had our first cover of Edmonton Woman Magazine & our first feature on international wedding blog, Style Me Pretty in 2013!
We give thanks & praise to God for his numerous blessings. Our gratitude to our family, friends & clients knows no bounds; your encouragement and constant support are truly appreciated.
