From 5Artists1Love‘s website: ” is an annual Black History Month event that provides Edmonton residents the opportunity to celebrate the cultural mosaic within the city’s Black community. It explores the rich history of the African diaspora through art, music, dance, and poetry with the goal to help established and emerging artists further develop Black arts and culture and to celebrate the accomplishments of Black Canadians.‘
Last Friday’s event was one of their satellite shows and it was hosted by London Villas Hub in Edmonton. I attended as Eva from Foundry Room‘s guest and took a few photos as I enjoyed the event so much. I met so many wonderful people and Artists. Thanks to the National Black Coalition of Canada and Curator & Producer Darren W. Jordan for this fabulous event.
