Let’s “crawl” with Tycoon Events: El Cortez Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar!

I had so much fun on a venue crawl that the fabulous Eryne of Tycoon Event Planning & Promotions coordinated visits for a group of industry professionals in the Edmonton. She also provided the descriptions in this series of blog posts featuring the 6 venues that we visited. Over the past two weeks, I have featured Boyle Street Community League & the CKUA Building.

Today, vamos a El Cortez Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar!

Eryne stated: “Outfitted with beverages, notepads and pens, the group kicked off the tour at El Cortez Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar, one of Edmonton’s newest Whyte Avenue hot spots! If you haven’t yet made it over to the Tequila Bar, it’s a must – be it for Tuesday Tacos, the elaborate cocktail menu, the exquisite décor and ambiance, or for one of their infamous pop up shows. We took a peek at the restaurant space (which can accommodate larger groups), the private event space in the basement, and the amazing patio space!”A small section of the restaurant space that their Marketing Director, Cressida confirmed will cater for parties of upto 30 people. How picturesque are these stairs to their private event space in the basement!?Cressida also confirmed that the basement space is great for private events like weddings or  bachelorette / stag parties and can comfortable accommodate upto 100 people.
