Earlier tonight, Funmi attended Daffodil Gallery’s reception for its current show, which is a collection of watercolours on wood panels by gallery co-owner Karen Bishop. Karen’s paintings are inspired by the Alberta landscape and are highly textured with bold rich colour and a loose fluid style. Real and Imagined runs until February 23rd 2013.
Tonight’s reception featured live music from Post Script (stephblaismusic@gmail.com), delicious food from The Dish and the Runaway Spoon and complimentary wine. It was such a fun and inspiring evening. Thanks Karen for the invitation.
