After retweeting a few tweets, we won a pair of VIP tickets to visit the Edmonton Home & Interior Design Show yesterday. We knew that the highlight would be attending a presentation by Scott McGillivray of Income Property fame as VIP front row seat holders. We hadn’t banked on having so much fun with the other exhibitors! We took a few photos of some of the exhibitors so here goes….
We met our friends Becky & Amanda at the fair; they’d just finished trying out the “soothing and relaxing” Accupoint Stimulator by SoleMate.
Then Funmi tried a delicious Organo Gourmet Cafe Latte, which was made with high quality Arabica Beans and authetic Ganoderma.
Master Recycler Composter Jane of Waste Management Services at City of Edmonton let us spin the “wheel of fortune”! No, it was actually an interactive wheel for skill testing based on each subject labelled. A correct answer meant that the player could enter to win a year’s supply of blue bin bags. Don’t pretend you’re not excited by that.
City of Edmonton explained “the way we green” concept when applied to eco buildings and how they decided to lead by example and collaborate with several Builders to develop an eco-friendly community in Oxford on the North west end of Edmonton.
You can never have too much Tupperware, right?!
We know that our events and wedding industry friends will be excited to see these flameless candles from Ocean Sales, especially when they hear that you can change the colours of the flames by pressing a remote control! Yes, we played here the longest haha. Thanks Kirsten for the demonstration.

Scott McGillivray’s presentation was very informative and he had the audience laughing many times during the hour. There was standing room only!
