Congratulations Milorie & Cris on your amazing wedding full of Filipino traditions, food & attires. We learnt so much about Filipino culture & Filipino Catholic wedding traditions during this colourful joy-filled wedding day.
As well as seeing the boundless love that Milorie & Cris have for each other and their family & friends, we also had the pleasure of discovering that Filipino elders are greeted by the younger people placing the backs of the elders of the younger peoples’ foreheads. It is such a tender thing to witness but the greetings happened so quickly when there are lots of elders about, blink and you’d miss it.
Milorie & Cris’ Filipino Catholic wedding included candle ceremony before they were wed and veil, rosary & coins ceremonies after they exchanged their rings. These were symbolic celebrations of their marriage.
