Feed The Soul Dining Week Media Event

In 2023, I shared previews from the Feed The Soul Dining Week Media Event and then worked hard to get all the photos to Rochelle and Sara. They got them all within my 4-week deadline, but I’m finally sharing more of the event’s magic with you!

I had the pleasure of covering the Feed The Soul Dining Week Media Event at Sabor Restaurant. It was the first-ever launch of Feed The Soul, which showcased some of the 18 Black restaurants that are part of the event from February 10 to 17, 2023, at different locations around Edmonton. It also had fabulous live music from Melafrique and sets from DJ Juice.

Feed The Soul Dining Week in 2025 will be a bit different because Rochelle and her team are giving Feed The Soul a brand makeover. After that, it’ll be back as Black Futures Month Dining Week in 2026.

Mark your calendars for February 22, 2025, because there’ll be a food and mural walking tour hosted by Linda Hoang and Rochelle.

Get ready for a culinary adventure with CALLALOO + CHOW, a one-of-a-kind pop-up by Feed The Soul celebrating the bold and vibrant flavors of Trini-Chinese Cuisine. Chef Winnie Chen of Fu’s Repair Shop, Chefs Nadine Lewis and Pat Ross of Cafe Caribbean will be serving up delicious dishes. The opening night is February 19, and the menu will run until February 23, 2025. Don’t miss out on this amazing event and head to Feed The Soul to grab your tickets!
