In Summer 2013, I had a great time taking photographs of a Canadian-Korean wedding reception for a Photographer friend of ours. That lovely couple had their reception at the beautiful Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort. As per the couple’s and their main Photographer’s wishes, we are unable to share any images from that spectacular celebration. Luckily though, we can show you some of the locations within the hotel, thanks to a recent meeting with Crystal, their Local Catering Sales Manager. Crystal explained that the hotel had just completed a remarkable re-decoration of some of the areas.
As the banqueting rooms were in use at time of my visit, I decided to focus on the its stunning common areas. Once relevant permission approved / payment is received, these places would be fantastic for your Edmonton formal wedding portraits, especially during inclement weather.
