{30th December 2013}
As part of our daily photo project, “2013 | 365“, I visited Edmonton teahouse, The Tea Girl, to take photos of their wide array of tea cups. On a previous visit, I’d discovered that their customers are invited to choose their own tea cup after ordering. No, it’s not because I’m easily pleased, more that the attention to detail and the fact their clients have different characters are just two of the reasons that it’s so lovely there.
Their selection of teas is delicious & mind-boggling, some of which are actually blended by The Tea Girl. In Mid December 2013, Steeps in Glenora officially changed their name to The Tea Girl, same management. I discovered that despite the recent name change, The Tea Girl has actually being independent of Steeps for over 3 years. They still stock some Steeps products alongside their blends; they also offer food and other tea-themed gifts. Thanks to the combination of friendly & knowledgable staff (they offer Tea-ducation!), a relaxing atmosphere complete with witty tea-themed phrases, The Tea Girl is the perfect teahouse to visit for time out from wedding planning or indeed to get more ideas for your wedding, especially if you’re an Edmonton Bride or Groom who is really into their teas.
Thanks to Sarah & her team for letting us feature them.
