We just love this getting ready image that we took whilst second shooting for our friend, Julia of Julia & You Photography back in March 2012! The excited look on Bride’s face, the composition and the stunning natural light streaming in from the many windows in this room at Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey, UK are the elements that make this image one of our favourite bridal preparation images.
Choose Bride & Groom preparation venues that have at least one room with lots of natural light. Apart from getting beautiful images like this, the rest of your bridal party and your other on-the-day wedding vendors will be thrilled too. For example, your make up artist and hairstylist need as much light as possible to their job in the time allocated without rushing you and to ensure that the look they give you shows your true colours (all puns intended hehe). Natural daylight, especially when diffused through windows, is one of the most flattering light sources available, so you & your bridal party will look exta gorgeous in the preparation photos.
